    On June 8, 2011, Mark S.   • USDE Approves ACAOM's Expansion of Scope to Include DAOM

    As of July 8, 2011, the U.S. Department of Education reconnizes ACAOM for an expansion of scope to include Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DOAM) programs.  Schools with ACAOM institutional Candidacy (with some limitations) or accreditation, and with Candidate or accredited DAOM programs may now use ACAOM's accreditation to request eligibility for Federal financial aid.
