The Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has elected Dr. Dong Ji, Ph.D., L.Ac., as Member At Large and Dr. Michael Hoefer, Ph.D. as Public Member to the Commission, terms to begin immediately.
Dr. Dong Ji, faculty at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego for Masters and doctoral programs, is the Integrative-Medicine course developer for UCLA medical school students and clinic tutor for medicine residents and fellows for the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine and UCLA Collaborative Centers for Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Hoefer is the Assistant Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness at The Art Institutes International. He holds both a Master of Science and Ph.D. in physiology and has extensive regional and specialty accreditation experience with Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Council on Chiropractic Education.
